How exercise benefits your bones

Running and walking are the best way to strengthen your bones, because the benefits that they provide are simple; they build muscle, which helps bone structure.

Running for 20 minutes everyday will help you feel energized, but will help you build muscle mass, which will in turn help protect your bones from injury.

When your bones are protected by muscle it allows them more security. It is the muscles and ligaments that keep our bones connected.

Walking will also allow for better bone development in strengthening muscles. You will not only see a difference after walking for 20 minutes a day, but you will feel your body hold you together and with more strength.

Detox Your Body to Conceive

You would like to prepare your body for pregnancy. You take your daily dose of chromium and prenatal vitamins, exercise, sleep well, and chart your cycle so that you are sure to know when you are most likely to conceive. You’ve done just about anything your friends, magazines, mother or mother-in-law have to advised on this subject. Yet, you find it difficult to conceive.

Now, have you considered an alternative healing method: body detox? Detox is simply the process of eliminating toxins from your body. Tips on improving your body mass index

The BMI (Body Mass Index) is used internationally for checking whether your weight is within the healthy range for your height. Although suitable for most adults, the BMI shouldn’t be used for children, pregnant women, the elderly or ill. Other exceptions are weight trainers or athletes with highly developed muscles, who may find their BMI rating places them in the obesity category. This is due to the fact that fat is lighter by volume than muscle mass and the BMI doesn’t take into account the difference between fat and muscle.

How to live a healthy life – Part 5

A healthy life can be had if one discipline himself to a right type of living, ensuring that one eats correctly, exercises and lives according to the Doctor’s directions. Being a diabetic for a number of years, I have grown to be very diligent in my diet and exercise. I found that when I did not follow a good discipline I would find all my vitals out of whack. I had no one to blame but myself. I know that it is a struggle especially for a diabetic but to live a long healthy life can only be true when one disciplines oneself. You may say this my life and I am not about to struggle so I will do what I want with it. I find living a healthy life has gain even if I have to struggle at times to resist that which is not good.

Of course one must exercise to lose weight and I would never entertain a contrary idea, not even for a brief moment, and neither should you. To lose or maintain weight you need to exercise regularly and for best results you should incorporate the different types of exercises:

· To expand the range of motion of your muscles and joints, you should do stretching and flexing exercises.

· To boost your cardiovascular stamina and therefore strengthen your heart muscles, you should participate in aerobic exercises which include but are not limited to jogging, walking, hiking, biking, swimming, dancing, team sports and so on.
