We all know that there is a healthy way to diet and a deadly way to diet. We see the insect thin celebrities who are going to age so fast they will need a face-lift every 3 months or they will just starve themselves to death.

How to diet and not die….

- avoid crash diets as you will only end up back where you started if not bigger

- have a healthy attitude towards food

- be aware that your body requires fibre,carbohydrates,proteins,v itamins & minerals

- work out your BMI (body mass index)

- become more physically active

- set a healthy, well balanced diet schedule

- eat regularly

A healthy diet plan

- base your meals on bread, potatoes, bread or rice

- eat regularly with smaller portions

- eat fruit

- drink plenty of water

- eat plenty of vegetables

- only use the very minimum of vegatable oils and spreading fats

- eat plenty of fish

- select low-fat varities of dairy products

- select low-fat meats

- do not snack in between meals

- take regular and slow exercise and work up to 30-45 minutes a day

- if you do eat a cake or packet of crisps occasionally don’t worry
